Co-Chairs Daniel Dunlap and Alex Spencer met with Georgia APCO President Jonathan Jones, Georgia NENA President Tamika Kendrick, and the Planning Committee on the week of January 11 discuss the GECC Conference scheduled for March 1 - 4, 2021 at The Classic Center in Athens. After discussing all options and considerations, we made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring 2021 GECC Conference.
The safety and well-being of our attendees continues to be our primary focus. While we are dedicated to bringing great training opportunities to our Public Safety Telecommunicators in Georgia, we also understand the current challenges we currently face with the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will continue planning for the 2021 APCO/NENA Fall Training Workshop and will keep you updated as we have more details.
We ask that you keep our Georgia public safety family in your thoughts and prayers as they continue fighting the COVID-19 battle.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on the Conference Committee or a Board Member of Georgia APCO or NENA if we can help answer any questions.
