Call for Papers – GECC2020

The Training Committee for the Georgia Emergency Communications Conference has opened the call for papers for our spring event to be held March 9th thru March 12th in Columbus, GA. If you are interested in presenting at the GECC please submit your presentation at the following link:

2019 Keynote Speaker

The keynote speaker for the 2019 Georgia Emergency Communications Conference is Ryan Dedmon of the 911 Training Institute. Mr. Dedmon is a former 911 telecommunicator and holds a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. He is a 911 educator and writer with an inspiring message, rising from his personal experience on the path to healing from emergency responder stress. Here comes GECC2019!

The day is here! Registration is open and we have updated the hotel links so our attendees can start making their reservations!

We are also excited to announce that our draft training agenda is almost complete and the sessions that will be offered in March are some of the best we’ve had, by far! We hope to release a tentative agenda very soon! The conference committee is hard at work to make this the best conference yet and both Georgia APCO and NENA Boards are excited for March!

Don’t forget, we are now accepting award nominations so be sure to use this opportunity to recognize some of the amazing professionals in your 911 Center!
